Today I will be talking about Whitebait Media! Again...

This time, all of the year 8's went and we got a full tour around the really confusing hallways of the Whitebait Media building. I recommend reading the first post before coming to this one.

It was a really cool place, they had lot's of cool stuff! Including equipment for the Brain Busters TV show. I really enjoyed seeing all the cool things that they had and also being able to watch our final year 8's video properly!

Yesterday we visited Whitebait Media to do some singing, to record the song for our year 8 leavers video! How exciting! The five of us, Nikita, Grace, Abby, Maddie and me went.

It was an interesting experience!

Today I will be talking about NYLD.

I'm sorry this came out late.

A few weeks ago on Friday, we went to NYLD, National Young Leaders Day. The year 7 and 8's and a few year 6's attended fro the day at Horncastle Arena. We all really enjoyed it, and found it entertaining and a good learning experience. We played games, listened and did a fair amount of shouting and cheering.

Going to Mega Air!

The year 6-8 suddenly disappeared and reappeared in mufti clothes heading to do some jumping.

It was a truly awesome time. Forcing the teachers to do something they really didn't want to do.

Jumping around on the trampolines and playing dodgeball.

The Big Bang! (Not the theory)

Today I will be talking about a concert called Big Bang!

Not the theory, just saying. The concert.

It was by the CSO (Christchurch Symphony Orchestra) and it was in the wonderfull Christchurch Town Hall (which is huge just saying).

I had a lot of fun myself, playing the trumpet and piano, and I thought that the song choices were really good for the ages that were at the concert.

The Ki-O-Rahi Tournament

The Ki-O-Rahi Tournament

Hello bloggers!

Today I have a post about the Kio-O-Rahi tournament.

Some of us went to the Ki-O-Rahi tournament at Gilberthorpe school a couple days ago.

There were four other schools that had come, there were four fields that we played in.

One round we had to ref a game and we would all spread out among the four feilds with pairs or groups of three with a whistle.

Overall I think that the Ki-O-rahi game was really fun, I think it was a great way to get running around for a change.

I think what challenged me most was trying to run away with the ball. Sometimes I would get the ball but I wouldn't run away fast enough because I would get tagged.

Trip to the Eco sort!

This is a slide that that I made about the Eco trip that we went on Wednesday.

We learned a lot of things about rubbish and how the machines work there.

Camp 2018!

Camp 2018 was a blast!

I'm not going to tell you much about my trip since I have a quiz for you!

You will find some of these (----) in my slide, those are words that you have to find in my story on the next pages, they are underlined!

I found camp so fun this year! My favorite was orienteering and aroe jump, I also loved the maypole there. The trickest activity was rock climbing, it was much harder than I thought.

A&P show activity

On Thursday we went to the A&P show. After we did we had to do some activities based on the A&P  show. I only got to finish four out of eight but this is my work. You will probably need to go into present mode/ make it bigger, when reading the information. I would like some feedback on what I could change.
