This is my second chapter of the Enchanted Staff...

Chapter two

The reval

While Hana was looking at the stick, Mika was clicking on her computer away and telling the rest of her friends about it. Mia had typed You’ve got to be kidding Mika! Mika replied Oh here’s a photo! Beep! Mika clicked the button to send it to Mia. ok typed Mia, forget what I said before. Mika shared it with all of them.

The next day school was canceled because of the big meteor. So Mika decided that she and her friends we're go on an adventure to see where the staff came from, what it can do, and pretty much everything about it. We all met up at Mika’s house, and checked out the staff. The staff was glowing at the ruby on the top, the gold shimmers in the darkness.

Suddenly, a ball of light came out of the staff, and it shaped itself into an arrow pointing to the north of Canterbury. “That was unexpected!” Said Jedi, Mia quickly took the staff, “I got it I got it! The staff is pointing to where we have to go!”  Mia screamed, So we raced out the door, out to the city. We looked to see where to go and where it was telling us to go. Suddenly Mia slipped and barley fell into a hole, but Mika caught her in time. “That was close” Said Nikita, and we continued. It was like as someone was trying to stop them.

They stopped at the museum, and the staff was telling us to go in. But the door was locked, we pushed as hard as we can but it didn’t budge. The staff glowed and magically it opened. We stepped inside tried to hide the staff, as it told us where to go. We followed it until it said to go inside the ancient egypt area. “I’m not going in there!” Said Mia “Me neither” said Mika. “You guys can stay here if you want” said Nikita “But give us the staff” said Parwin. So the three of them left Mia and Mika behind and stepped inside. Mia and Mika walked back to the house, happily, but a dark shadow mouthed them and took them away

Hello there bloggers! Today I am posting a blog post about my story the Enchanted staff, this is the first Chapter of my story, my Chapter's are quiet short, I will try to publish a chapter every couple of days if you are interested in the story. Here is the first part.

The Enchanted Staff

Chapter one

The Meteor

It all started with a group of Five friends, Parwin, Jedi, Mia, Mika, and Nikita. That day it was the end of school and they we're playing handball. Once everyone was gone, Mika was the only one left standing there in the quiet courtyard. Suddenly, there was a glow, then an explosive, bang in the fields. Mika quickly covered her eyes from all the dust and smoke. As soon it was finished, there was a big crater left behind. Wondering what it was Mika ran towards it. Then what appeared was Hana, she asked Mika “What was that big boom?!” While waving her arms in the air. “I don’t know?” said Mika, and started to run towards it again.

In the crater was a big huge fiery rock. Mika touched the rock slowly, and it disintegrated. What was left was a crystal with a glowing stick like thing inside. Hana ran towards the meteor, whoosh! Past Mika, and tried to lift the crystal, “Hana you’re not that strong!” Said Mika, so Hana grabbed a stick and hit once, nothing happens, Hana hit it twice, nothing happened. So Hana hit it multiple times, even then nothing happened. Mika watched Hana go back inside and got another stick, this time it was bigger though. Hana lifted the stick high in the air and swung it down with a big crash! Somehow Hana had broken it. But there was some negatives too. Whatever was inside was slightly bended.

“Uh…” Mika stood there confused, “Did the banana kingdom give me the power to break it!” Said Hana, let me remind you she is crazy about bananas. “Hana I don’t think there’s such thing as a “Banana Kingdom” in this world” Said Mika, “Well it’s real in my imagination!” Said Hana. Mika picked up the staff and put in quickly in her bag, and then they left school. But Someone was looking over them “Mhua hahaha!”

The world's worst excuses...

This term we finished this amazing book called, there's a boy in the girls bathroom. This book is about a boy called Bradley that doesn't behave very good, so he is told to go to the counselor, Carla (the counselor) helps him to improve and asks him a lot of questions. How will Bradley turn out?

For our reading activity this term we had to complete a couple activities about the book. My favorite activity was the world's worst excuses. Please give me a nice positive comment! Here are two of my favorites.

Why did Bradley not do his homework?

Because my sister got mad at me because I went and smashed her homework books,
and so for payback she ripped up my book to write all the answers in.
Even if I wanted to write my homework on a piece of paper, the cat team
(that’s what they called themselves) went to the printer room and ripped up all the
paper, you could think that I would go to the shop and buy some more paper,
but it was 12 o'clock at night and the shops were not open.
You’re probably thinking that why was I awake at that time, it is because the cats,
the cat team, we're still mowling inside the house.
You would think that my Parents would wake up but actually I put earplugs in their ears.
Now you are wondering why that I did that, that is because I snore very loud.

Why did Bradley not go to the conference?

Because my mum had to go to a very important meeting with her work people.
Nope don’t change the time because my mum is at that meeting from 6 o’clock until
midnight. “What about your..”  Nope my dad is at work to he has to go to the mechanics
and is helping to fix a very important new car.
Who’s looking after me? Of course my sister, she is the best (worst) person to look
after me. Then why can’t my sister come?
Oh no my parents would hate her to drive a car, even though she’s 18 she’s crashed
the car already 10 times and my mum and dad don’t want her to do it again.
Why can’t we bike or by bus? Because we keep all our money in our safe and only
my parents know how to get into the safe.
Well bikes I am very bad at, I am even worse than my sister driving a car!
I could teach you? Now way!  Even my parents couldn’t teach me because,
they would get very frustrated and I’m sure you would do to. Luckily enough…
whoops I am late better get going! Bye!

Will Gregg the Egg survive?

This is Mia here for Easter fun day, and this activity was...

The egg protection tech challenge!

Mia, Nikita, and Mika have attempted to the challenge.

Gregg the Egg volunteered for a lifetime challenge,

The materials were!

5 cotton buds

1 plastic bag

5 straws

1 piece of cardboard

and three pieces of A4 paper

We have tape and scissors to use. 

These are the steps to save gregg!

First, we stretched out the five cotton buds and stuck them onto Gregg

Then, we wrapped the A4 paper around it,

Lastly, we put the plastic bag on the side like a parachute, and cut the straws and stuck them to the bottom for cushioning landing.

In the afternoon...

Gregg the egg was thrown of one of the classroom buildings by Mr Robertson our principle! We looked to see if Gregg was ok, and Yes! he was! we had saved him! and for our prize we got a big chocolate egg. Even though we had to share it, me and Nikita cracked it in half because Mika already had her own one from the hat prize! What challenged me was getting started, and making sure that you don't crack your egg. After that I got to keep Gregg, but he didn't last long.
