Term 2 week 1 May the 4

On the first week of the term we have been doing sound trap, sound trap is a place where you make your own music and make  sounds. I found it quite hard to do soundtrap because it was quite confusing with lot’s of sounds.

Also this week we did socal study and we had to draw New Zealand and then we needed to put all the places that we told to and write them down on the the New Zealand that we drew.

At Maths this week we needed to measure the walls of our classrooms and we needed to break down the measurements into centimeters and millimeters. Then after that we need to draw the floor plan of our classroom on our maths book, once we finished all of that we need to measure all the windows and doors, we also needed to measure all the sticky out walls. After finished all of that now we need to make the classroom but smaller.

I thought that this week was really fun.

My learning for the term

The term

This term in Rimu I have learned how to sail, how the census years work, and also I learned how to use studyladder. A challenge was for me this term was sailing because I found it really hard to control the boat and I nearly tipped over in the boat. also I found challenging was the team working activity at camp. an easy thing was this term was the reading because lot's of the questions were quiet easy to do and I didn't get stuck on the questions too much. I went really well with classmates Mika and Abby because we worked together well in class and we helped each other out. I have shown my YMS qualities this term because I have been helping each other in class.
