Welcome to Term 2! It's kinda digital right now...

Hey Bloggers!

Welcome back to my blog.
Aaaaaaand! Welcome back to Term 2 everybody!

If I say so myself, it doesn't really feel like Term 2 actually started, since we aren't going to school. But, I am super happy that I was able to see the rest of the class, and teachers using Google Meet. Does your school use it too?

Okay! So, today's blog is about 'Still Art' It was really fun to do, and I really enjoyed how I was able to do it however I wanted. It was for one of the can-do activities, in my slideshow, it also explains, how you can do your own.

Have you tried 'Still Art' before?
If so, what was it like? did you enjoy it?
If you haven't, would you like to give it a go? Why?

Enjoy!

  1. Kia ora Mia,

Isn't it great to be able to see everyone in a google meet. I have been enjoying this for a few weeks now. Mrs Taylor and I catch up regularly on it. It does feel weird though not being in schools.

Unfortunately the slide isn't showing up. I'm not sure if it is my end or something to do with the slide. You may need to try adding it again.

    Have a great term 2,
    :) Mrs Spragg

      Thanks!

  3. Hi Mia

This is a lovely illustration. I like the way that the toy on the table is looking out the window. I could not help but think that many of us are looking out of the window at the moment day after day.

i think your drawing has captured a pensive mood. Outstanding effort.

    Kind regards

  4. Hi Mia

I've come back to check out your slideshow as promised. I was not disappointed! You definitely have a hand for drawing and your perspective in the still life is pretty good too.

Have you perhaps discovered a new hobby...? Will you be doing any more drawings now?

When I used to do this at school, the teachers always made us draw fruit or flowers!

    Keep up the cool blogging!

    1. Hi Miss Rennell! It's Mia here. Thanks so much for commenting! I enjoyed your kind words. I think I've always loved drawing even when I was younger, and I do lots of drawings. Most of my drawings are of people, or characters, and usually I don't go for the realistic type, I am quite fond of drawing in japanese cartoon style, or anime.

      Thanks so much again!
