Flushing toilets!

Speech 2018

This is my video of my speech about flushing toilets.
I think that I did good on making sure that I had a loud and clear voice.
Next year, I think that I'll make a speech that's more serious.
I'm sorry if I'm giggling while saying my speech at one point, I was giggling because Nikita (my friend) hit her knee and was trying to be silent while in pain.
Enjoy!

Using RUCSAC

Hello bloggers!
It's Mia here and today I am going to teach how to do worded problems using the mnemonic RUCSAC.
This drawing will tell you what it stands for and we will work through one together!

Lets do a problem together,

Bob has 100 yellow candies, 250 green candies, and 300 blue candies. He is going to share them with his two friends and himself. How many candies will each of them get?

Well we've read the problem, now we have to Understand it.

Bob has 100 yellow candies, 250 green candies, and 300 blue candies. He is going to share them with his two friends and himself. How many candies will each of them get?

The highlighted parts are most likely to be the important parts, when looking for these look for the numbers, and the end part were it says what he's going to do. Now we have to choose what method we are going to use.

Well firstly we have to add all the the candies together, 100 + 100 + 100 = 300 candies in total. Now we have to divide it by 3 because there are three of them. Then that would be 100, so that means that they get 100 candies each. To check the answer we have to do the opposite so instead of dividing we have to times and instead of plus we have to minus. So that means we have to times 100 by 3 which would be 300, then we will have to divide it by three then that would be 100, and that's the right answer.

Although the question was pretty easy I hope you understand how to use RUCSAC.
