Talking with you! Sydney is here!

Hello bloggers!

Sorry for not posting for a while, currently I am in sydney (Australia) so I haven't had that much time to post a blog.

I just wanted to keep updated on my blog.

Afterwards I may write a blog on my holiday in Australia, but I may save that untill we start school because it will probably be a good post if we get asked to do a holiday blog.

This is only a short blog to keep my blog updated, hopefully tomorrow I will be able to do a sneak peek blog to my holiday in Australia, so keep an eye out!

See you soon!

I am so sorry for not posting any blogs for a while, but hopefully his will do.

I have finished the summer learning journey but, yes everyone, there is a but.
I am going to continue to the very last minute with the summer learning journey. I won't be doing them in order because I have already done that, but I will go around the site and have a look at some activities that I want to do.

I am going to Sydney (Australia) and I am taking my chromebook which means I will be able to do some blog posts.
Hope you enjoy Activity 1 Week 3 Day three.

The summer learning journey has come to an end!

Hello bloggers out there!

Wow!
It has been a great four weeks of the summer learning journey this year, well, and part of last year.

A couple minutes ago I was looking at all the posts that I have done on the summer learning journey this time. I was really impressed that I actually got so much more done then last time I did it!

Hopefully everyone else is also proud of their work this year.

Here is the last activity for the summer learning journey!

Thank you so much summer learning journey people!
I will be posting different blogs about my holiday just to keep my blog updated, but it won't have to do anything with the summer learning journey.

Keep in mind that I will be commenting still on other peoples blogs even though I'm not going to do any summer learning journey activities.

Enjoy!

On your blog please tell us:
What is one thing that you learned from participating in the Summer Learning Journey programme this year?
The one thing that I learnt from the summer learning journey this year is about the WWF, I didn't know much about it in the first place but now I know a quite a few facts that i can keep up my sleeves, especially about Saimaa seals ;).
What is one thing that surprised you?
The one thing that surprised me was actually reading all of the other participants post's since they can be so creative and unique, I can see that all of us have been working really hard.
What is one thing that concerned or upset you?
One thing that has concerned me is about the endangered animals, and some of the animals are like this due to pollution that we have done.
What is one thing that you (or your family) can do, moving forward, to help protect our natural environment?
I think to help with pollution and the natural environment, we should recycle more things instead of throwing them out straight away. I think that for the air pollution we should use less diesel/petrol cars and use electric cars.
Here is a little extra!
From me to the summer learning journey people,
again thank you so much!

Summer learning journey - Week 4 Day 3- Activity 3

Hello bloggers!

I am back with a new post about (drum roll)

The power of ten!

Summer learning journey says...

On your blog, list 10 species (animals or plants) that you would protect from extinction. For each one, give a reason as to why you think it is important to protect.
Hmm...
Let me think...
Well ladies and gentlemen you are in for a treat!
It's so boring just reading what I have to say so here is a video (with some pictures, the links are below) about the ten that I would save!
I will put the text below if the video is too hard to keep up with.
This one did go up to 2 minutes long because I had to put so much information into it, hopefully you don't get bored. Also sorry that I only put animal species in it, it's meant to have plants as well.
Again, if you haven't read some of the recent posts and want to know how to make these videos, here is the Link that will take you to their home site, sign in, then get making!
Enjoy!

The information
Ten animal species that I would save!
1. Camelion
Because it is a unique, and it is different to other animals
2. Kiwi
Because it is one of the small flightless birds in the world.
3. Pitcher plant
Because I think it is a unique, carnivorous plant that I think we should save!
4. Mimosa pudica
because it is a small and sensitive like no other plant
5. Giant Panda
Because it is one of the rarest species of bears in the world
6. Jelly fish
I would have to say jellyfish because they are so beautiful, and can be unique
7. Mangrove tree
Because they are rare and they have a very interesting structure!
8. Pizzly bears (grizzly and polar bear hybrid)
I think that they are worth saving because they are a rare hybrid that was created in the wild!
9. Monkeys
because they are similar to us, we could find out more about our evolution!
10. Asian elephants
They may not be as good as the African ones but they are even more endangered!

Those are the top ten animals that I would save

Summer learning journey - Week 4 - Day 2 - Protecting our own!

Hello Bloggers!

I am back with finally a new post,

sorry, I had to take a break yesterday.

Time to go ziplining!

So hang on tight ladies and gentlemen because I am going to take you through a ride of the activities today!

Activity 1

A flying fox

Summer learning journey says to...

On your blog, tell us how you would feel about going ziplining in Rotorua. Try to use some descriptive words (adjectives) and action words (verbs) in your post!.

Here it is!

I think I would feel pretty excited at the same time scared, and most of the time you know that I am feeling this way if I am...

1. jumping up and down
2. chatting a LOT
3. giggling a lot too

I sometimes can feel really scared of heights, but when there is a harness, normally I am quite confident that the harness can hold me.

That's pretty much it for me, pretty straight forward.

Activity 2

A protective plant

Summer learning journey says...

On your blog list 10 veggies, fruits, or herbs that you would plant in your garden.
Enjoy!
