Delivering creations!

Hello bloggers!

On Tuesday this week some of us from the student council went to put some of our creations for our response to the attack.

We got to go to the botanical gardens to find a place to put them down.
It was amazing to see it with our own eyes, how many people are helping and supporting this.

We were quiet while walking through here.

It just makes me feel happy that we can all be part of this too.

Here are some pictures

Enjoy!

Save meeeee! I'm stuck on a island!

Hey Bloggers!

It's nice to see you again!

This is my homework for the week.

The Rimu site says to...

Imagine that you are on a deserted island, what would you want most (things that you would miss) then ask another family member. Then compare the answers.

My mum and my answers are pretty much the same pretty much, tech, you know that kind of stuff...

BUUUT, I'm not telling you what it is! Because I want to you to read on! (did I say that out loud...)

Well, let's just forget about the water and food and stuff, because that's kinda obvious.

Here is my video!

Enjoy!

Biteable can teach you Maths????!!!

Hey bloggers!!

Welcome back to my blog!

In Rimu some of us have been learning about box and whisker plots.
Here is a Bitable to give you some information about box and whisker plots, I also hope that you learn something!.

If the video is too fast, or something goes wrong, I have all the details written down below.

Enjoy!

Box and whisker plots!
We have been learning how to write them!
And how to read them
We can show different data on box and whisker plots
We had to use our knowledge on mean, mode and median.
They look like this
Firstly you must find the median, lower and upper quartiles.

Then pop them into your graph!
Did you learn something?!

How do we do.... you know.... do things?

Hey bloggers!
Welcome back to my blog!

Today we were doing some science!

Based on the title you may be thinking of a human body... or you might not.

In Rimu we have been working on science bodies, where we put down what we already know about the human body.

The next step was to search about three different areas.

- The circulatory system
- The digestive system
- The skeleton muscular system

We had 5 minutes to write down cool information about it (purple & yellow) and questions about it (green).

Here is our brainstorm!

It went from this....

To this

Can you find the odd one out?

Let me know in the comments!

See you in my next post!

It was really fun meeting him and his arm.
He is the only one to have this arm in Christchurch.
Are you getting the picture?

Homework!!!! Three little pigs!!

Hey bloggers!

I am back with a new post!

It has been a pleasure to be able to do home learning and do blogs, meaning that I can use more of my tool biteable!

I am sorry to disappoint you but I didn't use Biteable.

Although I did a slide!!
Haven't done that in a will have I?

The homework was to suggest three materials that the three little pigs could use.

Here it is!

Enjoy!

"Cause I wanna swim like a fishy!"

Hey Bloggers!

I am back with a new post about Swimming!

Over the past few weeks we have been doing swimming. For the first few weeks we had swimming lessons, playing around with life jackets and just having some fun in the pool.

Recently, we have had swimming sports which include: Length races, Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, kickboard, and the width races (the same thing). I entered for freestyle and backstroke, surprisingly I won both! I was very proud of myself since I didn't even think that I had a chance on winning.

Backstroke wasn't as fun because I kept bumping into the wall since I can't swim straight, but I tried my hardest! Next time I want to be able to swim more straight in my backstroke, withOUT bumping into the wall.

Here's the best part for the blog!
My Bitables!

Enjoy!
