Extra activity! \ (^o^) / summer learning journey

Hello bloggers!

I am back with a new post on the summer learning journey.

Today I have done week 3 day 4 a scene out of a movie.

Summer learning journey says to...

On your blog, use the word ‘LIGHTS’ to write an acrostic poem about the Southern Lights. Be as creative as you can!

Enjoy!

I really like your poem because I could never think of a poem like that...How did you come up with it?

  2. Mōrena Mia, I'm Miss Goslin from South Hornby School. I really liked the way you used lots of good adjectives to describe the Southern lights. Because of this you made me picture exactly what they would look like! How did you picture what the lights looked like before writing your poem?

    1. Hello Miss Goslin, thank you for the kind comment. Well, to answer your question there where some pictures on the summer learning journey site, they sort of looked mystical, and it looked someones wild imagination. Using those words I start to construct my poem. With the help of the thesaurus too.

      Bye!
      Mia

  3. Kia Ora Mia,

Final comment of the day! I am really glad you have completed this task as you have done such an amazing job. Your acrostic poem is super cool and really creative which I really enjoyed about. I loved reading each and everyone of your letters as they were super creative and cool at the same time, good job for that. I am really glad to say that you have done a really amazing job and I can't wait to come back on comment on one of your other posts soon.

Overall great work, I am in a rush due to what I am about to do now but thanks a lot for the post and I hope you keep blogging and don't give up as you still have time to post.

What's your favorite letter from your acrostic poem?

    From,
    Hinerangi
