Activity 2: What’s in a Name?

Hey Bloggers!

Welcome back to my blog.

I'm sorry you had to wait so long for the next post to come but here it is!
Another Summer Learning Journey post!

If you already know what the Summer Learning Journey is, you may skip the next paragraph.

Pretty much, the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) is this thing that happens through the summer holidays, there are a set of activities that you can do in any order and as many as you want that give you points. Comments and replies are 2 points if it's up to standard. The aim is to get as many points as possible and try to get your hands on some prizes! The Summer Learning Journey also helps to prevent your learning skills going down.

Okay! The SLJ site says to...

For this activity, imagine that you were allowed to change your name to anything that you wanted.
On your blog, tell us what you would change your name to and why you would choose that name.
This is the name that I chose.
Thanks to Amelia who gave me inspiration on this post, go check her blog out here.
What name would you choose? Do you think there is a rule to names?
Enjoy!

  1. Hello Amelia, its me Parwin! I see you are also doing the SLJ, the challenge is on!

First of all, I just have to say, you always just amaze me with the beautiful things you create and the standard that you present your work too! I really like the flowers and the colours that you chose.

This reminds me of when I did this and I chose not to change my name because I really liked the meaning of my name. My name is a Persian name and it means the brightest star, as well as a type of flower!

I think that you did a super, duper, awesome job! I can't think of anything for you to improve on because you have completed everything to such a high standard. If you can think of something that will make your blog even better, then go for it!

How long did this take you?

    Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
    Parwin

This took me about 2 hours, I think, i'm not so sure because I took breaks in between but it was about that long. What kind of flower is your name? Also, you start your comment with 'Hello Amelia' I'm not Amelia, I am Mia, you may have made mistake :)

      Bye Bye!

What an awesome poster! I love the colours you've used - they really make your post stand out. Lily is a beautiful name. I have a niece called Lily. I actually have a niece called Mia as well. :)
    Are lilies your favourite flower?

Have a wonderful afternoon, Mia. Or should I say Lily? :)

Lilies are beautiful, aren't they? My favourite flowers would have to be sunflowers. I love the colour.

      Have a wonderful weekend, Mia.

      Bye for now,
