Summer learning journey - Activity 2&3 Week 2 Day 2

Hello Bloggers!

Merry Christmas everybody!

I hope you are having a great Christmas holiday, but guess what!

My Summer learning journey still continues!

Today I have done Activity 2 and 3,

Enjoy!

Activity 2

For this activity you are asked to think of someone who is very tough and strong. They can be someone who you know personally or they can be a character that you have read about in a book, seen in a movie, or on a television show.

On your blog, tell us about this person. Who are they? Why are they, in your opinion, so strong and tough?
I have chosen

Mika

Mika is a friend of mine who is a year older, she is a very strong person, mentally and physically. She is a wonderful kind person, with a strong heart and for determination. I think that Mika is very strong because even when she's hurt she gets back up again, and even with words, she stands tall and proud. She is also physically very tough too, and sometimes can do some things that can hurt us without realising, although she makes sure she is sorry and makes sure we are ok. She is very strong in her learning as well in art, she is spectacular!

So I think that Mika is the one who is so Strong and tough. Someone that I look up to sometimes.

  1. Hi Mia,

Well done for adding the pictures in for the bonus activity as well as the link to where your pictures came from, that is great to see.

The way you have used your language to describe your friend Mika is fantastic and so descriptive, I feel like I know her already! She does sound like a wonderful friend and one that you are lucky to have and I bet she feels lucky to have you too!

What do you and Mika like to do when you spend time together?

Until next time, happy blogging :)

    1. Hi Emma!

Thank you for the lovely comment. I feel very lucky to have Mika, Me and Mika mostly spend time chatting in the playground about science and movie theories. Mika is the only who would listen! like for example my other friend, Mikeal, he would probably start babbling to himself if I started to talk to him about science!
The reason I am such good friends with Mika is because when I first started she was the only half japanese girl in the school except me. So we got along pretty well, although she couldn't speak it (even though I can) I can speak to her mum fluent in japanese. Unfortunately she was in a different class in that time until the next year where we were together.

    2. Kia ora Mia,

You are very welcome for the comment.

Sounds like you and Mika really do have a wonderful friendship. It's always good being able to have friends like that where you can just sit and talk about things you both enjoy doing.

It sounds like you and Mika have bonded over your culture and heritage which is awesome. Have you been able to teach Mika some japanese? I bet you guys loved being in the same class.

      Emma :)
