Will click this blog for me? Please!
Great, wonderful Maths!
Well, for me,
Maybe not for you.
Today I will be teaching you how to convert,
Percentages,
Decimals,
And Fractions!
I found it pretty hard to convert fractions at first but I got the hang of it after a while.
I think the challenging thing about fractions was that the denominators can be different numbers so that means that I would have to change both the denominator and numerator.
Does this help you?
Do you understand it?
Enjoy!

SLJ - Eating bugs, Bad or Good?
Eating Bugs
Good or Bad?
By Mia
We are already eating them
Technically, with some research, we are already eating bugs. I mean, prawns, lobsters, crabs and other crustinations are classified as sea bugs and are significantly similar to bugs and roaches.
So for those who are seafood lovers, well, eating bugs probably won't be much different.
It's healthier for the environment
Eating insects mean that they emit less greenhouse gases and can have a huge impact on the environment.
They also take less water and land to breed and farm them. Which also means less space.
It's healthier for us
Bugs are really high on protein, fibre and have vitamins and healthy fats, even some minerals. Everything you need for a healthy life.
They also have a lower percent of getting a disease from them because they are so different from us, they aren't even mammals! Unlike cows, sheep and chicken they are relatively similar to us so that means that it's easier to get a disease.
Overall, bugs are better for us and our environment. I think that we should try it. Even myself.

It All Happens On The Inside
It All Happens On The Inside
I think that I wanted to call it that because I wanted something like, different, something that's better than 'Life In My House' anyways. But I also thought that I wanted something that would interest people so that's why I called it 'It All Happens On The Inside'
Here is is my poster!
Do you like it?
Is it good?
I chose people to voice act because, well, they are the people! They are my family :)

Guess who visited us...
Welcome back to my blog.
Today I will be talking to you about Karyn Wilson!
Most of the information is in the slide.
I loved most about Karyn Wilson is that she talked about her childhood and based some of her books on the place were she used to spend her holidays back in her childhood.
Enjoy!
Rounding out the decimals
This is a DLO consisting of pretty much 2 instructions :)
Remember them both and then you will be a master at rounding.
I found most tricky about decimal numbers is when you had to round from the decimal number to whole numbers, which are a little confusing, but the same anyways.
Did this help you to round decimals?
If no, then how could I improve?
Enjoy!

Peer inside, see the outside, the inside is the outside
This was an important part of the story because it was different and unexpected, also since they just moved, they wouldn't have any knowledge about it. This is what sparks of something interesting in Bruno's life.

I never thought of Maths in this way...
What do I think?
Let's think...
If Maths was an invention, that means that someone had made up this thing called "Maths" sure, the word Maths is an invention because someone made it up.
If it was the calculating, the problems, the worded problems and stuff that you actually DO in the subject in Maths an invention? Did someone make it up? Well yes, because Maths is actually a subject/topic which things like calculations, problem solving, algebra is all under this subject or topic called Maths. Who invented the thing called "algebra" we did! Because we made a way to figure out things in the world, so that means that we, humans, invented Maths.
I asked my mum and here's what she said.
My mum thought it would be a discovery because they way you do maths, like the calculating and stuff has been around for a while, and it fits more into the discovery category.
What do you think? Is Maths an invention? or a discovery?
Maths
Invention or
discovery?
