Hey Bloggers!
Welcome back to my blog.
Hopefully you're having some fun at home and enjoying the change.
Me and some of my friends sure have had to change our ways of doing things.
It's also a lot harder to try and figure out what to do when you have nothing to do. Especially because sometimes you are by yourself and there is no one to do stuff with.
Some of the work we have been set is some writing.
We have been asked to write a long write about 1 out of 4 prompts on a document.
I will be sharing with you one of them.
(As well as some work that me and some of my friends have been doing in out free time)
What have you been doing while you're at home?
What are some challenges?
What are some positives?
Enjoy!
HI Mia
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post! It sounds to positive and gives ideas of ways to work with others and things to do in the crazy situation we are now in.
You could create France at home since you cannot go there.Have you ever made a chocolate mousse? Or the others foods you mention - great time to try now! You could make a model of the eiffel tower using toothpicks and glue - if you do try this do it in layers/levels, let them dry and then place them on each other. Yes I have done this before - with ice block sticks.
And/OR Teach your family some key words like hello, please, thank you and I love you in French.
Take care, Have fun

Hi Ms Lange! It's great to see you! Thanks so much for the lovely comment. No, I have never made a chocolate mousse before! That would be a challenge though! Cool! That sounds like a lot fun! Making the Eiffel tower.
DeleteEnjoy your time at home!
Thanks so much!

Cut and paste the above comments into 'French to English' on Google translate and all will be revealed.
It is wonderful to see that you are utilising our enforced isolation to explore different parts of the world.
Kind regards
Mr R
Hi Mr Robertson! Thanks so much for commenting. Wow! You've been four times! that's amazing! It sounds like you enjoy it exploring around. I would love to go around Europe some day.

Kia ora Mia or I should say Bonjour Mia,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your learning with us. What a great slide you have created, I especially liked the information on France. I can seem from the comments that Mr Robertson also liked it. Did you translate what he said?
It is very strange to be at home all the time. Day 5 today and I am still wondering when I can go out next. I am glad it is 2020 and not 1920. Imagine not being able to connect with your friends and extended family online?! That would be super sad.
Keep up the great work Mia and remember ... it is holidays now!
:) Mrs Spragg
Bonjour Mrs Spragg! Thank you to you for commenting! Yep, Mr Robertson said some things about Paris and how he's been there before. Yes, it is very strange to be at home all the time, I'm a bit glad that I live on a farm, that means that I can run around our big lawn and do some exercise! I think I would get lonely if I couldn't get to my friends, so far, I have video chatted with some of my friends online.
