My Favorite treat is cinnamon oysters, I like this treat because I absolutely love cream! So when I have it I put lots of cream inside!
Recipe: By Edmonds cookery book (old version)
2 Eggs1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
75 g sugar½ a teaspoon of ground ginger
1 Dessert spoon
(10 ml) of Golden syrup ½ a teaspoon of Bicarb soda
50g of Flour
Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Add golden syrup, and beat again, then fold in the sifted dry ingredients. Put in small spoonfuls in greased spong oyster, or sponge finger tins. Bake for 12 minutes at 200 degrees. When cold split and fill with whipped cream, you may put icing sugar on top.

It is widely believed that the first people to arrive in New Zealand came from Polynesia. Most historians believe that they landed in New Zealand over 700 years ago. Although they were originally from many different countries, these settlers learned to live together and, eventually, formed their own distinct culture known as ‘Māori.’ Māori have their own language, traditions, and culture.

Maui
I found out that Maui’s canoe became the south Island and the North island is the big fish he caught when he snuck into the boat. When he did he catch the most biggest fish. When they got back Maui’s brothers cut off mountains of fish and that’s what became the mountains of the North island.
Maui, realized that there was no more fire in the world. So he went to the goddess of fire Mahuika, but tricks her wanting to know we're she gets it from. She was furious when she found out. Maui only barely made it out. When Maui had found out the secret of fire he soon after went fishing with Maui’s sister Hina her husband Irawaru. They refuse and go back to shore when their lines get tangled up. Maui, turns Irawaru into a dog and Hina throws herself into the sea but doesn’t die.
Maui went seeking for immortality for human beings and goes out with his friends following him from behind. Once he gets there he goes into the woman's body telling his friends to not laugh. But once Maui is inside the body, one of his friends, the Fantail, couldn’t hold it in and bursts out laughing. The woman claps her legs and cuts Maui in half.
Activity two :Setting sail
The first settlers to come to New Zealand must have been really brave! They had to leave their original homes and sail thousands of miles across the ocean on a special boat called a ‘waka’ to reach New Zealand.
Imagine that you were on board one of the wakas. On your blog, write a short letter to a friend telling them about your voyage to New Zealand. In the letter be sure to tell them how you feel about moving to a new country. If it was me, I would have felt really nervous…
Dear Mika,
We have been going fine sailing in our waka, although we had some obstacles that came in our way we stood tall. I feel very scared at this point, writing a letter to you. We have been sailing for over two weeks now but I see no island. Don’t worry we have enough food and water, but I really hope that we get there soon knowing that anything could happen to us. The splashing waves aside our boat makes me nervous. Everyone helps to push the boat to the right direction which is really tiring but making sure we're all going in the same direction. I feel scared and excited. I will send you a letter again once we have got onto land.

Bonus Activity: Waka Ama

I would like to but no, because I do like team sports but imagined you fell into the water, because I’m not that great at swimming I would be scared because they go quiet fast.
On Thursday we went to the A&P show. After we did we had to do some activities based on the A&P show. I only got to finish four out of eight but this is my work. You will probably need to go into present mode/ make it bigger, when reading the information. I would like some feedback on what I could change.
I am flying in plane, I can see shipwrecks, sand and submarines, broken ships rusted, like a desert which was once a sea but got drenched. Rubbing my eyes I look about, I feel hopeless. I see a lighthouse flashing the lights about.
I look around it I can see a cloud, and not just an ordinary cloud, a rain cloud. All hope was lost expect for that rain cloud. Now we had hope, suddenly I heard the crackling of the motor, I hear my plane breaking down as the plane slowly falls down and down, I hear a loud thump and everything went pitch black.
I hear a voice of a another person I looked up and I saw another girl, she had a worried face on her. I opened my eyes fully as I saw the face turn into a smile. Wondering I looked around I saw walls, although there was some moss growing around it, I asked her “where am I…” She replied “in the lighthouse, you’ll be safe now” I shook my head in replying meaning no I need to get the rain cloud, “I saw your plans and your plane, I will help you knowing that this was once a sea” she said.
“ firstly, can you fix the plane?” “umm” she mumbled “Perhaps... but you’re going to have to help me because I don’t have the tools for it, but I’m sure there’s some in your plane, right?” I nodded. “well then let’s get started!” she said, I hopped up and realizing how many scratches I had gotten when I had crashed.
I looked outside, I said “maybe we could start there” I pointed to my plane propeller she nodded “well then we might have to search for some replacements too. We went down the cold stairs and started to search for things. I started of by looking at some submarines finding lot’s of preparalos in some of the boxes. Hurring I gave them to her she looked inside the boxes and she took out a large propeller. She fixed it on with some tools and in some time the plane was fixed again.
I started the engine as it crackled at first clearing into a nice engine sound. I asked her to hop and she did. We took of flying straight at the cloud went right through it and rain started to pour down, now that was only the start. I looked about I took out a machine known as the rainmaker or more like, ocean maker. I switched it on, and I flowing swirl of water came to rise. I tossed it off the plane.
Gradually wildlife came, water rose, and ships floated, filling caverns with water as squid appeared. Rust disappeared like glitter and all was back, sea spread, seaweed grew!, it was all a dream come true, rocks were shells and sand was gold. But all that caught my eye was a black man and his shadow disappear.

This is the video that we used for the start of our story, but we only used the very start of the video.
Next we did a Brainstorm with the whole class these are some photos.
After we made a plan on what we were going to write about and then we wrote our whole story after I had written it I reread it but I didn't quite have time to put more descriptive language.
I would like some feedback on making it flow better but making sure it is still has a sudden feeling.
